Add Instances to Queries in Bulk

  1. Navigate to Intentwise Explore (AMC): Go to the Queries section
  2. Settings: Click on the Settings icon and select "Add Instances to Queries"
  3. Select Queries and Instances: Choose the queries you'd like to add and select one or more instances you want to assign to those queries.
  4. A success message will appear once changes are made. If any instances were skipped to avoid duplicate query creation, you'll see a detailed message listing those skipped items by clicking on "View Details"

Frequently Asked Questions

Which queries are eligible for bulk instance actions?

Bulk actions apply only to queries that meet all of the following conditions:

  • Status is Active

  • Scheduled to run recurringly (any frequency other than “Once”)

  • Not instance-specific

What happens if I try to add an instance that already exists in another query?

If an AMC query already exists with the same instance and look-back window, that instance will be skipped automatically during the bulk add operation. This is a safeguard to prevent duplicate queries.

What happens if I remove the only instance from a query?

If a query has only one instance and it is removed, the query will be automatically paused to prevent it from running with no valid instance.

Can I perform bulk actions on paused or completed queries?

No, only active and recurring queries are eligible for bulk add or remove operations.
