Automated rules allow advertisers to make changes to their campaigns that get triggered when a set event occurs. 

For example, users can set up a rule to accomplish day parting. i.e keyword bids can be lowered at a certain time of the day and increased during other times.

Another example where automated rules can be used, is to change bids during the weekends and weekdays.

To set up customized automated rules, click on the Automated Rules tab under the Settings menu of the application and then click on the Add New Rule button on the top right. You can enable, pause or delete automated rules at any time.

To edit a rule, click on the pencil icon that appears when you hover over a rule’s name on the Automated Rules page.

You can enable, pause or delete a rule at any time by picking the appropriate option from the drop down menu for the rule under ‘Status’. 


You can also check the execution history for the rules by clicking on the link at the top right of the page.

Notifications will be sent via email for all rule executions
