Insights Explained

The Insights tab provides a streamlined method for accessing and managing your embedded dashboards within the Intentwise platform. By activating this premium feature, you can create a white-labeled application that reflects your brand’s unique identity. This allows you to offer exclusive, branded access to the Insights app for your clients, enhancing both usability and presentation.

Availability: Intentwise Analytics Cloud

In this article, we’ll guide you through enabling Insights for embedded dashboards, setting up dashboards quickly, configuring white label settings, and managing client access.

How to Enable Insights

  1. Navigate to Intentwise Analytics Cloud

  2. Go to My Connections

  3. Scroll down to Embedded Dashboards and enable Insights

  4. Once you enable it, you'll see the Insights section in the left navigation menu.

  1. My Dashboards: Set up and manage your dashboards.

  2. White Label Settings: Manage your domain settings.

  3. User Access Management: Add and manage the users.

My Dashboards

Steps for setting up dashboards

  1. Navigation: Under Insights, go to "My Dashboards"

  2. Click on "Add Dashboards"

  3. Select the dashboards and click Continue. You can also preview the dashboards or request custom dashbord from this screen.

  4. Manage users who have access to the dashboards and click "Assign"

  5. Click Done

  6. Click on View Dashboard

White Label Settings

How to Set White Label

  1. Domain Settings: Add your company name, URL, logo, and more.

  2. Dashboard Settings: Manage your dashboard appearance.

  1. Company name: Add your company name

  2. Support email: Add your support email

  3. Domain: Add the URL (and verify)

    1. Add a CNAME record to your website DNS settings. Point the CNAME to “platform-wl.intentwise.com”. Set the subdomain to anything you prefer, for example analytics.yourdomain.com

    2. Disable Proxy Status, then save the record.

  4. Logo and favicon: Add your brand logo and favicon

  5. Delete White Label Settings: Clear or delete the white label configuration

Dashboard Settings

User Access Management

Under the User Access Management section, you can add and manage users. Once you’ve created a white-labeled dashboard, follow these steps to grant client access:

  1. Navigate to User Access Management: Go to Intentwise Analytics Cloud > Insights > User Management.

  2. Add a New User:

    • Click the Add User button. This will redirect you to Account Management in Global Settings where you can add more details.

    • Enter the client's name and email, then select the accounts they should have access to. Before adding the user, make sure to tick the checkbox confirming your authorization of access to critical business information.

  3. Edit Existing User Access:

    • To modify a user’s access, click the pencil icon next to their name and adjust the account permissions as needed.

    • You can control which dashboards the user has access to.

Your client will only need one email to access all the accounts you assign to them.

Remember, only admins can add and manage users.

  1. Login

  2. Your dashboards

    1. Analysts will have access to the "My Dashboards" section

    2. Admins will have access to additional settings like User Access Management and White Label Settings
