Once it's connected, you can ask for performance summaries, ROAS comparisons, wasted-spend audits, and forecast-vs-actual checks the same way you'd ask a teammate, and the assistant returns answers grounded in your real data across Amazon (Ads, DSP, AMC, Seller Central, Vendor Central), Walmart, Instacart, TikTok, Shopify, Meta, and Google. This guide walks you through the three things to do before you can ask your first question: 1. Set up your Intentwise organization and connect data sources 2. Connect AI Gateway to your AI assistant 3. Run your first prompts If you already have an Intentwise account with data flowing, skip to **Step 2**. --- ## Step 1 — Set up your Intentwise organization **New customers** 1. Sign up at [app.intentwise.com/signup](https://app.intentwise.com/#!/signup). Complete the form, verify your email, and set your password. 2. Go to **Global Settings → Account Management → Accounts**. 3. Click **Add Account** for each data source you want to query: - Amazon Sponsored Ads - Amazon DSP - Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) - Seller Central - Vendor Central - Walmart Ads and Walmart Marketplace - Instacart Ads - TikTok Ads and TikTok Shop - Shopify - Meta Ads and Google Ads If you don't see a data source you need in the Add Account list, contact your Intentwise account team. 1. Authorize each connection and confirm it's enabled as a data source. Most accounts begin returning queryable data within 1–2 hours of authorization. Backfill of historical data continues for up to 24 hours. **Existing customers** If you already have an Intentwise account, no setup is required here — your existing data sources are automatically available through AI Gateway. --- ## Step 2 — Connect AI Gateway to your AI assistant Pick the AI assistant you use and follow its setup guide: | Assistant | Plan requirements | Setup guide | | --- | --- | --- | | Claude.ai | Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise | [Set up Claude.ai](https://help.intentwise.com/intentwise-aigateway-setup-claude?hsLang=en) | | ChatGPT | Plus, Team, or Enterprise | [Set up ChatGPT](https://help.intentwise.com/intentwise-aigateway-setup-chatgpt?hsLang=en) | | Microsoft Copilot | Copilot Studio license | [Set up Microsoft Copilot](https://help.intentwise.com/intentwise-aigateway-setup-copilot?hsLang=en) | The connection details are the same across all three: | Setting | Value | | --- | --- | | MCP Server URL | `https://mcp.intentwise.com/mcp/` | | Authentication | OAuth | Each user signs in with their own Intentwise credentials, so access is automatically scoped to the accounts and permissions they already have. --- ## Step 3 — Run your first prompts Once connected, start a new chat and try these to confirm everything works: - *"How did my ads do last month?"* - *"What are my top campaigns by ROAS?"* - *"How does this week compare to last week?"* If you get a clean answer with numbers, you're set. Keep prompts conversational — the assistant has your data and a semantic layer that knows the metrics, so you don't need to spell out lookback windows or thresholds. --- ## What data AI Gateway can answer questions about AI Gateway can answer questions about any of these sources that are connected for your accounts: | Source | What's available | | --- | --- | | Amazon Ads | Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Sponsored TV — campaigns, ad groups, keywords, negative keywords, search terms, products, placements (including the Sponsored Brands placement report), and budgets | | Amazon Marketing Stream | Hourly traffic and conversion data for intraday campaign performance | | Amazon DSP | Orders, line items, creatives, audiences, new-to-brand metrics, and the DSP Product report (ASIN-level DSP-attributed sales and purchases) | | Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) | New-to-brand customers and gateway ASINs, path to conversion, Sponsored Ads and DSP overlap, tentpole event analysis, DSP reach and frequency, DSP performance by geography, ad-attributed branded searches, abandoners, purchase frequency and time between purchases, customer and product lifetime revenue, organic vs ad-exposed performance, shopper funnel, page-level Brand Store insights, and custom attribution (first-touch, last-touch, and linear). If your organization's AI Gateway access is disabled, your AI assistant will connect but tool requests won't return data. Contact your Intentwise account team to check your plan or re-enable access.
