Meta Ads as a Data Source in Intentwise Analytics Cloud (IAC)

How to connect Meta Ads Account(s) in Intentwise

You can connect your Meta Ads account(s) by following these steps:

  1. Click Account Management in the bottom-left corner under Global Settings. Then go to Accounts → Add Accounts → Meta Ads and click Next.
  2. Click Authorize Access, then sign in with the Meta account credentials that have access to the Meta Ads account(s), grant the requested permissions, and you will be redirected back to the Intentwise account connection flow to complete the setup.
  3. After authorization, Intentwise will display the Meta Ads account returned by Meta. Map the Meta Ads account to an existing Intentwise account or create a new one if needed, and then click Submit to complete the setup.
    You can use the search option to find an existing Intentwise account to map each Meta Ads account. The Submit button will be enabled only after the Meta Ads account has been mapped to an existing Intentwise account or a new account has been created.
  4. After submitting the mapping, a success message will be displayed confirming that the selected Meta Ads account has been connected successfully. Data will begin flowing into Intentwise within 24 hours.

Important note shown in the UI:

Meta automatically revokes access after 60 days. To continue syncing data, you'll need to re-authorize your account in Intentwise. We'll send an email reminder one week before access expires.

How to enable Meta Ads account as a data source on Intentwise

To enable the Meta Ads account(s) as a data source within Intentwise, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Foundation → My Connections in the left navigation menu and
  2. Navigate to My Data Sources and click on +Add Source
  3. Select Meta Ads and click Next
  4. Select the account(s) to be enabled as data source(s) and click Enable.


Note:  Once the account is enabled as a data source, it will take 24 hours for Intentwise to start capturing the data

How to access Meta Ads data on Intentwise

To view your Meta Ads data within Intentwise, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Intelligence → Commerce Insights → Retail Insights from the left navigation menu.
  2. Click on the Add Dashboards button
  3. Enable the Meta Advertising Overview dashboard
  4. Assign users and click Save And Enable Dashboards
  5. Go to the Meta Advertising Overview dashboard and click on View dashboard
  6. Access the dashboard
