      Walmart: Setup Walmart Connect Ads API Access

      Learn about connecting your Walmart account to Intentwise Ad Optimizer and Intentwise Analytics Cloud.

      Thank you for showing interest in Walmart's services. With Walmart integration, you can:

      1. Take advantage of the new campaign type SBV (Search Brand Videos). It is exclusively available to API partners.

      2. Leverage robust analytics, rules, and alerts.

      Onboarding is simple. You need to add Intentwise as an API partner on the Walmart Console. The entire process takes 2–3 working days. The last 60 days of data will be available once the setup is done. 

      Please note that only account admins can add an API partner. An API Partner with write access to your account can view and edit every campaign within that account.

      Steps to add Intentwise as an API partner:

      1. Go to Walmart Connect and navigate to the API Partner - Advertiser Level section on the Admin page.

      2. Click + Add Partner at the bottom of the section.

      3. In the API Partner name dropdown, scroll and select Intentwise.

      4. Granting Access - Select the level of access: Provide Write access to Intentwise.

      5. Confirming the Integration - Click Add Partner. Intentwise can now access your advertising account via the Walmart Connect Ads APIs.

      Connect Walmart to Your Intentwise Console

      Reach out to the Intentwise support team at help@intentwise.com and provide the following details:

      1. Your Organization Name: 

        Your company name.

      2. Intentwise Account Name:

        Name of your Intentwise account to which you want to map your Walmart Advertising account.

      3. Walmart Advertiser ID (for Ads Onboarding):

        To find your Advertiser ID, log into Walmart Ad Center and go to the left Navigation menu > Reports > Advertiser. You can find your 6-digit Advertiser ID in the URL on this page: https://advertising.walmart.com/view/report/advertiser/[Advertiser ID]

      4. Sales Onboarding Details (for Marketplace connection):

        To connect your Walmart Marketplace account and bring in sales data, please share the following:

        1. Client ID
        2. Client Secret
        3. Ship-node (for DSV Suppliers only)

      Note: Once we get the required details, we will initiate the onboarding process from our end, which takes a day to complete. If needed, we'll have Sales send you a contract with your updated pricing tiers. 

      Intentwise Analytics Cloud

      Once the Walmart account is added, you can connect it as a data source by following these steps:

      1. Navigate to Intentwise Analytics Cloud
      2. Go to My Data Sources under My Connections
      3. Click on "+ Add Source"
      4. Select the Walmart account

      This would count toward your data sources based on the number of activated accounts.
