Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does Auto‑Bid Recommendation do in Intentwise, and how does it work?

Auto‑Bid Recommendations leverage our machine-learning algorithm to optimize your keyword bids based on:

You must enable “Target ACOS” and optionally check “Auto‑apply Bid Recommendations” when setting up campaigns,

You can choose between three profiles:

  • Aggressive: allows up to ±30% bid changes

  • Neutral: balanced adjustments

  • Conservative: up to ±15% bid changes

This controls how strongly the system reacts to performance data.

How often are bids adjusted, and will non‑performing keywords be auto‑paused

  • Bid updates run on a regular schedule, typically daily, unless disrupted by manual changes.

  • If you manually adjust a bid, auto‑bidding will pause for 3 days. However, any bid changes made directly through Amazon Ads will not pause the auto-bid system.

  • Auto‑bid does not automatically pause non-performing keywords; it only adjusts bid amounts. Use our automated rules or monitoring tools to pause low-performing keywords.
