Amazon Brand Search Term Report Explained

Amazon Brand Search Term Report provides comprehensive search term data at a specific geography and department/category level and includes information pertaining to the Search term, Ranking based on search frequency, Clicked ASIN, Click Share, Conversion Share, etc. Brands/agencies can use this data to gather insights on the competitive landscape.

Getting Started with Amazon Brand Search Term Report

As a prerequisite, you will need to have a vendor central account linked with Intentwise to access this data. Click here to learn how to add your vendor central account.

Amazon Brand Search Term Report For Intentwise Analytics Cloud

Once your vendor central accounts are added, please follow these instructions/steps to activate this as a data source:

  1. In Intentwise Analytics Cloud (IAC), please click on the “+ Add Source” option in the “My Data Sources” section and then select “Amazon Brand Search Term Report."

  2. You will then be presented with the “Data Source Settings” screen, where you can start adding the entries by clicking on “+Add New Country.” Then, select the country and departments from the dropdowns and click on “Save.”

    Note:

    • Department here corresponds to a category in Amazon

    • Each country and department combination is considered as one data source. For example, if we choose Country as "US" and Department as "Grocery", "Gourmet", & "Handmade", then this is considered as 3 data sources

  3. You will then receive a confirmation notification regarding the addition. Please note that it will take about 4-5 days post adding the entry to start accessing the data.

Note: This data has a weekly refresh frequency and is scheduled to be updated every Wednesday for the prior week's data, i.e., Sunday to Saturday.
