Amazon Marketing Cloud Explained
Amazon Marketing Cloud, or AMC for short, is a holistic measurement and analytics solution to evaluate cross-channel campaign performance, refine audience planning, and optimize media investment for brands and agencies using Amazon Advertising. AMC enables advertisers to understand a shopper’s journey based on event level ad attributed data across channels. Some popular use cases include:

Getting Started with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC)
Add Instances
To get started with AMC you need to add an instance. You can add an existing instance or create a new one by filling out this form and authorizing access. Once you do that we will be notified and process the request. Learn more.
Please note set up time for AMC:
Orgs with AMC instance: 2-3 days
Orgs without AMC instance: 1 week
New instance setup will back fill till July 1st, 2023.
Add Instructional or Custom Queries
Queries in the context of AMC are pre-written SQL code provided by AMC to extract insights from advertising data. These instructional queries help users explore and analyze their Amazon ads' performance. You can use the existing queries or request a custom query. Learn more.
Templates and Insights
With Intentwise Explore, you have access to a range of pre-built templates and reports designed for AMC datasets. These resources offer ready-to-use options for customization and include embedded dashboards tailored specifically for AMC. Learn more.
Amazon Marketing Cloud For Intentwise Analytics Cloud
Step 1: Go to “My Connections” from the menu, click on the “+ Add Source” option in the “My Data Sources” section and then select “Amazon Marketing Cloud”.
Step 2: You will then be presented with the “Data Source Settings” screen where you will find all the available AMC accounts. You can then select the accounts you want to activate by checking the checkbox and then clicking on the “Enable” option in the top ribbon.
Step 3: You will then receive a confirmation notification regarding the account addition. Please note that it will take about 24 hours post enabling the account to start accessing the data.
Step 4: You can also choose which of the report data that you want to enable/disable under the “Report Settings” tab. Please check the required report and then choose the enable/disable option from the top ribbon menu. Subsequently, the user will receive a confirmation notification for the report addition or removal.
